Good money, but I get it.

America has been hoping for a HW champ for years, why would he have his first defence outside of America? Good offer, but Wilder as the champ shouldn't have to travel to Moscow for his first defence.

He said he'd fight four times a year and take on all comers. :lol1

He'd rather get his 1 million in the USA then 10 mil from the Russkies.

            Excuse no. 1:

It's ok for a champion not to travel for his first defence even if he's offered a gigantic purse.

How can you wake up and look yourself in the mirror knowing you turned down $10,000,000 to fight Alexander Povetkin? A decent but beatable fighter.

He wouldn't even get close to that for a unification with Wladimir!

The money is in Moscow! He will do well to get 1/10th of that fighting any other fighter but Wladimir.
This is why I respect Stiverne, 1 mill and he'd of boarded the next plane over to Russia!

Good move, Povetkin would humiliate and feminize Wilder.

So: at first Shelly Finkel declared that Wilder is not in a hurry to fight Wlad because he was offered $10 million to fight Povetkin... Now the same Shelly Finkel says no Povetkin yet, but possibly at most Fury, on Christmas 2015...
... But not even Fury for granted...

Nice... They don't want the chicken legged grand champ fighting any of the top guys... Which was obvious from the square one.
