Why because I'm encouraged by his promoter promoting him ? You guys on here are simple minded fools. If the money is unimportant why is it you feel Joshua and his team are worth more than Parker ? Jospeh is a champion, Joshua is on equal parity he's not a lineal champion just another champion.

It comes down to marketability. If Parker has been earning £600,000 his past couple of fights. Bringing in a little more than that. AJ has been earning £15-20 million and bringing in a lot more than that. Then you can't possibly say Parker deserves anywhere near parity. Parker's previous purses equal less than a 5% split with AJ. So 25% or 30% is more than five or six times more than his biggest ever payday. At that rate, AJ also will make a career payday of maybe £20-25 million. At 60/40, AJ could make that sort of money fighting a David Price or Shannon Briggs.

If Charles Martin is worth x amount Joey is worth double. You'd pay to see him vs Price wouldn't you, admit it ?

But the comparison is similar if you look at it relatively.

Joshua is a $10-15 milliion now, it doesn't matter how long it took him to get there, might I add that he probably has the best resume of the 3 champions. But lets stay on track as you are talking about two different subject matters, legacy vs commercial value and convoluting them into one.

Yes Joshua wants to prove himself which is why he is probably going to end up paying these guys well over what they are worth to get the fights made. I was trying to make give you some economic perspective of fighters who have been in similar situations.

You also haven't read my post correctly, % are dumb to talk about when you get to a certain point, ie. You started talking about what mando's get, which is irrelevant when you get to this level of financial fight. Do you think Pulev was getting his mandatory purse split? No because Joshua is a headliner and a fighter like him doesn't go to purse bids. But you can pretty much guarantee that he was getting by far his career best pay day plus a shot at two belts.

If AJ keeps firing Bums and not top contenders he will lose his credibility and fans.. It's to his benefit he carrys on fighting the best else the loyal British fans will think Fook it this isn't worth the $$$ am paying.
