you don't need to, train hard and eat small and healthy and it will come off.

No magic pill is gonna work better than that

Bah! take it if you want, i think you've already made your mind up anyway.

        You really don't need pills.

Running is definetely a great way to burn fat. When I wanted to lose some excess weight I did 'High Intensity Interval Training', which really worked for me. Went down 2 belt sizes in about 5 days of doing that.

If you don't know what it is, it's basically sprinting for about 30 seconds with a 1 minute rest (walking or jogging, not standing still) in between. For beginners it's a good idea to just walk for 1 minute after every sprint. About 8 sprints is good.

The advantage of training this way over regular steady pace cardio is that it makes your metabolism shoot up for the rest of the day, which will make burning fat that much faster.

You might wanna give it a try for a couple days and see how it works for you; worked wonders for me in any case.

As for food, the mistake a lot of people make when trying to lose weight is to completely stop their fat intake. By doing this they accomplish the exact opposite of what they want to achieve: the body will hold on to its' fat reserves.

Now I'm not saying to go to the nearest Burger King and chow down a family meal. What I do is eat a couple slices of bread with peanut butter for breakfast and lunch, peanut butter has a lot of good stuff in it. Proteins etc, as well as fats. You can also find 'good' fats in most nuts. Fish is good as well. So my advice to you is to have a healthy diet with lots of vegetables and fruit, but a decent amount of (non-junk food) fats as well.

Nah, I wasn't very fat. Slightly chubby at best, it just went extraordinarily fast for me. It might not be the same for everyone, just my personal experience. I'll add that before I started sprinting I only did a lot of steady pace running every day for months (mostly to build up stamina), which helped in the fat burning departement too just not nearly as fast.

Oh, and by belt sizes I meant the little holes in my belt. Which can of course differ depending on the belt. I'm thinking belt size might imply something else in english (I'm not a native speaker).

edit: by the last reply, I'm pretty sure it would imply something else actually... I didn't lose so much fat it would be considered unbelievable, just went fast.

I must agree, I am doing this now, and while it kicks my ass, I am already seeing great results over the last 2 weeks.
