What I wrote was perfectly coherent. But if you want to be pedantic about syntax, allow me to point out that Carl did not ONLY win because he was gifted a stoppage. He won because he stayed the course better than Groves and had him hurt and wobbling from a barrage of hard punches.
The stoppage was bad because it was premature, but, imo, it was a gift to Groves rather than Froch.
We'll never know for sure, but it looked to me like Groves was heading for a ko defeat, and if Foster hadn't jumped in when he did, this rematch would not be happening.

Froch has a genuine dislike for Groves personally. It's quite obvious he can't stand the high pitched ginger.

Fitzpatrick is rambling on like a nervous old lady who is about to lose her pension! He knows how dangerous Carl is and he knows that George had a golden opportunity to put Carl away in the last fight but couldn't finish him off when he was dazed and a little wobbly. He is hoping to God that Carl acts like a petulant child and walks into Georges right hand because he knows that if Carl takes his time and finds his range he s gonna batter George into submission in the later rounds. I find it hard to believe that Carl is gonna turn into an emotional ****** after competing on the elite level in his last 11 world title fights. Makes no sense at all.
Unless Carl is past it and needs to retire(which I don't believe at all judging on the fact the he was the one who came on stronger after regaining his senses and as the fight went on) then I think George wont have an answer when he gets pummelled into unconsciousness by a barrage of unanswered heavy punches.

Can't remember the rounds but it was around between the 5-6 or 6-7,Froch is clearly heard saying I'm not in control,to which his trainer replies you're in control,Froch immediately refutes it,and his trainer literally yells at him you're in control.

Froch was made to look ****** in that fight, clearly a fight he never wanted.and not because he couldn't motivate himself, that's all nonsense,he knew after two hard fought victories to establish himself as a ppv attraction,Groves would undo all his previous hard work 6-18 months previous.Froch looked like an average street brawler in there, reliant on his power rather than skill, and falling back on bullying tactics, leading with the forearm, punching whilst holding.

Froch was a desperate man.he never wanted this rematch, and now he has it we'll see more and more wild and incoherent statements like before the last fight.George makes him look like a simpleton.a rambling, stuttering buffoon.

Froch shower George zero respect in the build up to the last fight, and George repayed that compliment in full leading up to the fight and in the ring, thoroughly making him look ordinary, bar his supposed "granite" chin and world class power.

Groves allowed himself to become complacent he was schooling Froch easier than he believed he would.dropping his hands he was caught,I don't recall the round, but the fight didn't go on much longer than 4-5 minutes after that.he wasnt in seriousvtrouble to the point it required intervention.

I honestly don't see Froch being able to raise his game,he is who he is.Groves will want in that ring a tougher, stricter referee, one that will in the very least warn Froch for his repetitive, petulant fouling out of desperation.

Groves is naturally more intelligent,it shows in the interviews,it shows in the ring.Groves really doesn't need to make any real adjustments to win.the focus needs to be on officiating so he is competing on an even playing field, having had these resources in the first fight he would have won,as he will win the rematch.

Groves was the one in trouble when the fight stopped hence Froch was the one who was in the best position when the fight got stopped which would suggest that he was going to win the fight. Doesn't matter what comes before if you finish on top in the end does it mate?
Cant see Froch being so careless next time round. Did you see the way he basically marched into that right hand that put him down? Surely it affected him for quite a while afterwards yet he still came back and started raining bombs in the ninth round.
Unless George lands that right and wobbles Carl again do you really think hes gonna be the one left standing in the end?

Froch came out with all the undermining comments last time and found it difficult to back them up. Groves said what he would do regards to tactics and to a great degree he achieved .
If I had to put my house on the rematch I would have to put it on Froch but I would be sweating because I think it could be Groves that comes in to the rematch with the most confidence and the knowledge that he dropped the Cobro so hard in the first round and unfortunately didn't have the time left in the round to finish him.
Froch was off the mark with his pre fight comments and his post fight interview was completely out of touch with the majority of people and lost him a lot of fans. It must really hurt him , the fact that he dislikes Groves so much and showed Groves no respect whatsoever and Groves for the most part of the fight was hammering him.
The reason I wouldn't pick groves big time at this stage is the obvious Froch stays the distance well has a solid chin and is obviously heavy handed. If Groves were to win I could see that happening with Froch taking a count, rising and then Groves letting lose and the ref, (not Howard!) stopping the onslaught but I can equally at lease see Froch catching a over confident Groves 55/45 for Froch!
But just a Groves one on one studio interview seems to send Froch crazy he simply doesn't know how to with deal with the super sharp factual comments that Groves presents him with > one on one interview 90/10 groves !

Yeah its close and the people who say Froch isn't dangerous are delusional. I expect Groves to look superior again early on but if he doesn't wobble Carl hes gonna get his head caved in like Bute once he starts slowing down like he did in the last fight. Carl is not past it and proved in the last fight he still has the ability to increase his pace as it goes on. Cant wait for this rematch.

Let's not forget that Froch has never been knocked out. It's not like he's chinny all of a sudden just because Groves put him on the canvas. I think everybody knows who'd be favorite the longer the fight lasts too.
