What he says would be the same as me saying "Yes, Lewis battered Holyfield and was robbed. But let's not forget that Holyfield got a draw". It doesn't make any sense.

In any fight (most of course), there's a winner and a loser - there's not much middle ground. So if one fighter is getting battered from rounds 1-9 and the other fighter gets a cheap stoppage, who really won?

On the cards, it'll say Froch won. But in a fighting sense...

Groves came out on top out of the two I think that's pretty clear.
In a fighting sense, Vitali beat Lewis. Your double standards to justify your bias never fails to impress.

I never denied anything. Early on Groves was amazing. Groves gave Froch a boxing lesson and Froch lost his head and basically marched into that right hand. Foch got flattened and looked like an idiot. Groves then proceeded to tee-off on a dazed Froch at will but its kinda funny how he didn't have enough power in his shots to put Carl down again don't you think? The reason Froch got knocked on his ass is because he walked into the punch. Do you really think hes gonna be ****** enough to do it again?
In the rematch Carl will take his time and find his range before he steps in and when he does its gonna be exactly like round 9 where Groves didn't have an answer to Froch's power. Weve already seen that Carl can handle the best that George has to offer. Cant wait. Groves is getting flattened next time round.

Groves will only land a big enough shot to drop Froch if Froch walks into it. If George doesn't drop Froch then he had better conserve his energy otherwise hes going to sleep

Honestly I love Froch, but I don't think Groves was seriously hurt in the 9th. I think he was starting to show weaknesses and Froch was really coming on strong. But honestly guys, there's so little data of the stoppage it's impossible to know for certain what really was going on with Groves, he wasn't given the chance to show wether he was hurt og just a bit buzzed.

This second fight will have Froch a lot more motivated, the closer the fight gets both fighters will realize that this fight has so much global recognition, after a classic first.

What was Howard Foster thinking? That could have been one of the greatest British contests in history.

Froch will be taking every liberty possible in the rematch, rabbit punches, low blows, you name it. He will get away with it all but Groves will pepper him with right hands all fight.

All this Groves was going to win nonsense is getting silly. If he was going to win, then he would've won. I agree with some of the earlier comments- the stoppage was a gift to Groves not to Froch.

How can you say that you know Froch was gifted the stoppage, while also admitting that he might have won without it? That doesn't make any sense at all.
Maybe Howard Foster denied Froch a decisive KO victory, and gifted Groves a rematch he wouldn't have got otherwise?
I said the stoppage was bad because it was premature, not because I thought Groves would have won without it.
I think Froch would have stopped Groves if Foster hadn't jumped in. You think Groves would have recovered and won.
We'll never know for sure which of us is right. That's why it was a bad stoppage.

Froch will promise a war like he promised against Mikkel in the rematch yet hide behind the jab, like he did for the best part of 3-4 rounds until Groves works him out, just like Mikkel did.

The reason Froch got knocked on his azz is because he's dumb as ****,he tagged Groves,Groves winced and Froch leapt in caution to the wind, and Groves countered,hard....CRUNCH.....seat of his pants ensued.

Froch believed his own hype, come the end of the round he realised he was in as deep as he had since he fought Mikkel 1,Ward,Taylor and Dirrell, all fights he looked anything but the invincible home boy he considers himself to be.

He could have had three points taken of by my count, two were definite point deductions.possibly more ! The guy was getting desperate.the officiating stunk worse than boiled ham.Groves won't have any of those boys involved again,no way he'd take the fight otherwise.amd rightfully so.

I still believe Froch will be able to handle the pressure once the bell rings. Froch TKO again.
Yes. Froch really is emotional... And he doesn't actually even stand the "ugly kid"...
