That would completely crack Golovkin's aura, considering that Lara would be Golovkin's first world-class opponent and a significant underdog.
I agree. He is clearly better than Lara. Lara is a solid journeyman who will spoil and try to make everyone look bad. But when the lights are on him, the best you get out of him is the performance he put up against Canelo - which wasn't much.
It's just that everyone focused on Canelo himself, as if he was exposed. If you put the focus on Lara himself and ignore Canelo --- Lara didn't do anything to deserve a win in that fight. No knockdowns, no clear outboxing of Canelo during any of the rounds. If you're gonna move around that much, you're better be putting on a clinic.

Another thing to remember is that the 2 delayed screenings of GGG/lemieux broadcast by HBO were both watched by over 1.25 million viewers.
HBO did ok with that fight.

Lara didn't do that against Canelo.

Ggg quit hiding !
* UNLEASH THE CANELO *
Where you at Mr. 154-168 pound killa?!?! GGG or should we say DDD a.k.a Diva Duckin Daily!!!
CANELO ALVAREZ will school and knock DDD out cold , on some Kirkland and Baldomir KO of the year type stuff!!!
Ward calls out DDD at 168, he be like "I little guy" "catch weights are great "
Lara calls out DDD at 154 or 160, he be like "I fight Monroe Jr. instead , difficult style"
CANELO calls out DDD , he be like " that's second question " "catch weights are the devil "
REALITY CHECK : GGG\DDD = Fraud , Propoganda , Gimic, Publicity Stunt
"But don't forget guys, big drama show , I'm ready now not future , only the best guys"!Last edited by REYESdelBOXEO; 01-23-2016, 09:35 PM.
