I think Al Haymond is thinking if Spence beats Porter that's 2 belts.. then you make the winner out of Thurman and Pacquiao fight him and he wins that, you have the IBF, WBA and WBC around his waste which makes them the A side, with PBC its all about money... but then you have Danny Garcia still out there he is next up to fight for the WBC belt, your talking about a fight that's 3 or 4 years away being so those PBC guys only fight twice a yr.

suck it bob...enjoy overpaying Crawford for fights nobody cares about

the same people complaining about this are the same ones that were ok with bob taking fury out of a wilder rematch....and whine that charlo should jump to DAZN to get good MW fights....knowing full well that Crawford resigned with TR fully knowing the situation at hand

LOL...shame on u fgts whining about this
in the eyes of logical sensible people (not dckriders) Fury already beat wilder and got robbed. i was cheering for wilder and i can admit that. and Fury was nowhere near close to prime.

here we have two prime undefeated mofos that can clash right now.

people keep bringing up May-Pac. the only winners there were the folks that got paid. the fans did not win anything. we were cheated out of seeing two legends clash in their primes.

here we have that opportunity again but spence is taking refuge and warmth under Haymon's balls.

That is what i don't want to see in boxing with fans. When someone turn a fight down, it's not a chance to celebrate. Would anyone be celebrating if Whyte got offered a wilder fight and he turns it down? I would be blasting him.

Calling out someone is not "calling up someone!"

          This is how Bob operates:

          November 27, 2018
          Ring TV
          Mike Coppinger:

The offer, presented by Moretti during a phone call with Angel: $3 million guaranteed plus upside of the pay-per-view revenue. The plan was for Crawford-Garcia to headline Top Rank’s first PPV show on ESPN. Of course, Garcia is aligned with PBC, meaning he fights exclusively on Showtime/FOX.

“It was a totally professional discussion,” Moretti recalled. “He said he would discuss it with Danny. Never heard back. I appreciate him taking the call. I think that door is always open. Absolutely.”

Moretti says he spoke with Angel two-and-a-half weeks before an April 20 bout with Granados on FOX was announced on November 13. That means it’s likely Garcia (34-2, 20 KOs) and Granados already had an agreement in place when Moretti and Angel chatted. Danny didn’t immediately respond to a message seeking comment from The Ring.

Crawford and Garcia are headed in different directions for now, but Top Rank maintains interest in making the matchup later in 2019; duBoef and Moretti say collaborating with Showtime or FOX on a show isn’t a hurdle.

duBoef says they considered offering the fight to Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter (both of whom outpointed Garcia) but there were obstacles. Thurman hasn’t competed in almost two years due to injuries to his elbow and hand (he returns January 26 against Josesito Lopez); Porter has a mandatory defense lined up vs. Yordenis Ugas on March 9.

“Danny was sitting there and we felt you know what? It’s a really terrific fight,” duBoef told The Ring. “We didn’t want to value the loss. (Garcia’s September loss to Porter) was an entertaining fight; close fight. Garcia has marketing value as it relates to Crawford.”

duBoef and Moretti say the offer was made directly to Angel rather than Al Haymon to ensure the fighter received information about the opportunity. Top Rank chairman and Haymon haven’t done business with each other in years, so they claim there was fear Haymon wouldn’t present such an offer to his fighter.

“I don’t know who to present to with these guys,” duBoef argued. “They say they’re the promoter, they’re not the promoters. They say they’re the agents, they’re not the agents.”

If Angel told Moretti they wanted to discuss the fight further, duBoef says, at that point Top Rank would have reached out to Haymon to try and hammer out the deal. “I just want to make sure these guys get the offer,” he said.

“They know who represents these guys. We’re a management company, we’ve always been a management company,” Tim Smith, vice president of communications for PBC, told The Ring. “Phone numbers haven’t changed.”

That was November! Remember Khan got $5 million, plus upside, and Danny KO'd Khan, and was a former WW Champion, which Khan never was! Now fast forward to 4/20, and Danny has one of his best performances:

          April 22, 2019:

Whichever’s true, a couple hours after Danny Garcia dismantled Adrian Granados on Saturday night, Terence Crawford’s promoter determined that a fight against Garcia later this year wouldn’t be worth their time. Two weeks earlier, Bob Arum indicated to jeetwin24.com that he would again attempt to make a Crawford-Garcia fight if Crawford beat Amir Khan on Saturday night and Garcia defeated Granados...

“You know, a lot of guys that we’re interested in fighting, like Kell Brook, has said that he wanted to fight Terence,” Arum told a group of reporters early Sunday morning. “And that’d be fun. I mean, the other guys that Haymon has, I’m not really interested in. [Shawn] Porter isn’t a real fight for Crawford. And [Danny] Garcia’s not a real fight. [Keith] Thurman isn’t. The fight that’s a real fight is Spence.”

          http://jeetwin24.com/arum-dan...awford--138225

Same Ol' Bob, same Ol' BS! He's using PBC names to build his fights! Like they said, "the phone numbers haven't changed!"
A lot of these folks know what's up with Bob. They are okay with Bob's lies and misdirection because at least Bob is in control of these fighters. PBC is the perfect scapegoat for Bob to use when he arranges a mismatch. When Bob stops sending multi-fight contracts like he did with Wilder or requiring "options" on future fights, we'll see some better fights from his stable.

No need to add the extra sauce. This isn't what they say. They stop at we trust him. They trust him because his advice has led to many fighters making a lot of money that quite frankly exceeded their value.

I hope Haymon calls Arum’s bluff! Arum knows the Spence fight will not be made anytime soon. And I honestly don’t think Arum wants the fight. Lomo and Crawford are his 2 main draws. What would happen if Crawford got knocked out or destroyed by Spence??? Plus he has no other legit welterweights for Bud to fight. It would ruin Bud’s credibility and drawing power. That just doesn’t make business sense. Arum is saying all these crazy things about Haymon to try and convince ESPN that he is trying to make the fight. ESPN is putting heat on him for a big fight for their network and Arum can’t produce it! So his way out of it is to blame Haymon. In the meantime, Haymon has multiple big fights for Spence. With Danny Garcia, Porter, Thurman, Pacquiao, and even Ugas, it wouldn’t make business sense at this point for Spence to fight Bud. I personally need to see Bud beat another elite welterweight like a Garcia or Porter to convince me he can handle Spence. Skill wise, Bud is second to no other fighter. But his resume at welterweight is simply not impressive and I see Spence absolutely destroying those same fighters.

pbc have too many fighters at 147 for rush to make spence vs crawford. pbc will milk spence and put him up against all of their top fighters at 147 THEN they'll consider crawford after.

Haymon has all the WW. Brook only one left for Arum to feed Craw then he has nothing. They will make Arum suffer and beg for the fight they can keep Spence busy
