They might know, but they still run that "It's Al Haymon's Fault" line all the time! If he was so powerful, you would think they would call him directly! Ortiz says no, blame Al! Garcia says no, blame Al! Yet, no one called Al! "Oh, we were gonna call later, but we just wanted the guy to know the offer," as if Al wasn't going to tell them the offer! Crazy! I'm going to let Vanes tell them, so they know it's not just a "Black Thing"

    February 20, 2019:

"The one thing I regret in my career is bad-mouthing Al Haymon because I have nothing bad to say about him, I was just upset with the people in the company that were not treating me right and I took it out on him," Vanes told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

"That was a mistake I made and if want him to know that I’m thankful for him. I’m not saying that for him to take me back, I just want him to know that I’m thankful for him. I sat back and I thought about my career and my whole life and how things went and he’s one person I shouldn’t have bad-mouthed him and I’m sorry for that.

"I don’t need an offer from Haymon. If Haymon wants to accept me back, I would go to him immediately and I would want him in my boxing life. At the end of the day, he takes care of his fighters. He took care of me also.

"His fighters make good money and a lot of people hate on the amount the fighters makes because it’s a lot of money, but they don’t know what we go through outside of boxing. The punishment we take in our brains, we are getting brain damage and I think we need to be paid for that instead of the people outside who are running the show getting more money than the fighters. That’s the thing I like about Al Haymon, that he really does care about his fighters. If he’s willing to do something, I’m ready to go."

Fights aren't made through the media. Ellerbe doesn't speak for Spence or Haymon. Bob still hasn't called as he promised he would. So what is Bob DOING to make the fight? What is PBC DOING to prevent the fight?

EVERY PBC fighter says the same thing when a fight is mentioned. Call AL. All this talk over the last two weeks and it seems that some fans have forgotten that Bob hasn't done the one thing that is necessary to make a fight with a PBC fighter.

Spence wants all the belts before moving up. So it’s Porter first in unification. If Thurman beats manny he will take that fight. He will demand Craw and we will see if in 2020 haymon signs off

Has Al came out and said it?

And even if he did he wouldn't be lying. With the exception of Don King's short run boxing has been whites & ***s exploiting black
          latino fighters. Including Arum.

But that's not a problem for y'all. Someone raising the issue is a problem to y'all

So Spence has options and good fights to keep sharp how long can Arum feed Craw B list WW. Looks like Spence and Craw will have to both demand it in 2020 and play rough with each sides promoter

Maybe there are fans that like to feel like a fighter has to be controlled by a promoter or fan emotion/opinion and the fact that Haymon's focus is on the fighter, not the promoter, and not the fans, bothers them.

He also said Danny Garcia wasn’t a real fight yet he was trying to make it 3 months ago. I don’t believe anything Arum says. The PBC have no incentive to make the fight. And they aren’t hiding that fact. But Arum doesn’t wanna make the fight either he’s just fronting like he does.

Ellerbe doesn’t speak for haymon or arum but Ellerbe heavily relies on haymon as the majority of his fighters are on his shows so I doubt he’d risk his livelihood by speaking out of turn so I would think there’s an element of truth in what he’s saying.

How many times does Spence have to say Crawford is on the other side of the street and he has other stuff to deal with first before you admit it’s obvious pbc don’t want this fight right now?

Those are the real haters! people have been brushing off Arum way back before "Manny is scared of needles," "We need an outdoor stadium," etc., but this:

Arum told a group of reporters, referring to Haymon. “He’s gonna say, ‘Spence, listen to me. Don’t listen to the white guys, because if you listen to the white guys they’re gonna steer you down the road. Listen to me, brother. We’re part of a brotherhood. And if I tell you not to fight Crawford, I’m telling you not to fight Crawford.’ That’s exactly what he will say.”

That is "beyond the pale!" That should've been addressed by not only by posters here, but ESPN as well!!! Max, Stephen A., Teddy Atlas, Joe Tessitore, Timothy Bradley, etc.!!! They should've all made a comment, demanded an apology, SOMETHING!!! Totally unacceptable, and as much I love Terence Crawford, at this point, I could care less if he ever gets a shot at unifying at WW!
And there were other reporters there who filmed it but didn't report it.

For something that's supposedly not about race the other side sure keeps bringing up race (golden boy emails & Arum)

How long will it take until the - at best - mildly educated posters on NSB realize that the PBC and Haymon is ruining boxing?
