Do you tip your delivery driver?

When you order directly from restaurants or use app like Doordash, postmates, Uber eats, or Grubhub do you tip your driver?


I thought it was pretty common etiquette to tip drivers since they use their car, gas, and save you time. But I talk to this guy I hoop with who does delivery as part time since his hours got cut and he said a lot of people are non tippers.

Always. $5 to contribute to someone's unfair pay is common decency.

I don't use any of those apps for food. You know what's funny is for some reason I just don't trust random folks going to pick up and bringing me my food, but back in the day when I would order pizza I had no problem with the pizza delivery guy doing it. Anywho, yes, when I used to order pizza I would always tip the driver at least 5 bucks.

Always and I tip cash if I have it, I don't add it to the bill. It's a much more efficient way to get that delivery person some tax free money.

I always tip in any service capacity. I was always taught as a kid if you you dont have money for a tip then you dont get to have pizza. Same goes for going out to eat!

I pretty much tip all the time. Delivery folks, servers at a restaurant etc etc. About the only thing I don't do is tip into a cup someone puts out at Subway or some other place like that.

I never have food delivered....... I usually just collect it and pay normal price.

In restaurants I usually tip 10%...... if it's ?0 then I'l chuck ? on top.
