Having been a delivery driver myself, I tip. I remember making 8 dollars an hour in 2010 delivering and all my tip money went towards gas. I worked for a chinese restaurant, I remember their cheapo general tso's would ring up to 6.85, people would give me 7 bucks and call the leftover 15 cents my tip. Delivering chinese was awful for tips funnily enough my buddy who delivered pizza made twice or more what I made in tips plus the police never hassled him or the other pizza drivers because the pizzeria always donated their left over pizza to the cops.

Definitely. I pretty much ONLY tip delivery folks & barbers.

I will super rarely tip at a restaurant cuz I don't think that service is THAT personalized that a tip is necessary & it's just about restaurant owners being sh^tty to their employees with pay.

I just can’t understand these people that order delivery for convenience and service but got no common sense to tip lol
I've heard that, but I've also heard that sometimes they get some crazy overtips to that equal everything out. Sh^tty of those types all the same doe.

I don't do the grocery delivery thing, but if I did I'd definitely tip those mofos especially if I got them climbing 3 flights of steps with all my bs.

What’s your definition of over tip lol. I tip 10% of my total order and add 5 bucks cash if they get to my place on time or early

He told me that alcohol delivery gives the biggest tip and it’s also the easiest. Always ready for pick up and if you get lucky you get the wine connoisseur who orders 2 bottles of wines for couple hundred bucks. So easily 20-40 bucks tip for that alone

I definitely always tip well. You are remembered for next time, you will be their priority. The more often you tip well, the better the service. Although it does plateau, but still that’s good. My local Waffle House and Bob Evans know me by first name as soon as I come in the door. When you tip good money, employees remember you. Now the local Chinese restaurant, who I also tip well every time, they do not give a damn about my name. But that is how all Chinese workers are. But they do know me, probably as “that guy who always tips us good”.

Tipping is just common sense really, nothing else. Restaurants, delivery, resorts/hotels, uber. If you frequent some place, or will be in some place for a little while, just tip. If you are broke, I understand, just buy from Mickey D’s dollar menu or something.

I usually tip fairly. But as of lately those delivery apps have unfairly increased their costs so now I tip $1. It’s got to come out of somewhere right? I also feel like the apps raise their prices in correlation with drivers tip amounts.

Always tip but I Don’t use those apps often much anymore.
