    Anyhow, what am I misunderstanding??

Danny Garcia turns down career high payday to face the #1 fighter in the world. If he wins he has his pick of Spencer, Porter, or Thurman...instead he chooses to fight a journeyman for $1m flat.

Yeah that black Haymon is taking care of his black and latino boys !!!

Fu.ck outta here tryna make everything about race
Motorcity Cobra you are a cuck also
Someone obviously hasn’t been reading my posts.

Regardless nothing wrong with being pro black. It doesn’t mean anti white.

here we have two prime undefeated mofos that can clash right now.

people keep bringing up May-Pac. the only winners there were the folks that got paid. the fans did not win anything. we were cheated out of seeing two legends clash in their primes.

here we have that opportunity again but spence is taking refuge and warmth under Haymon's balls.
fury didn't beat wilder....I don't care what you think...he outboxed him for most of the fight....but when you get knocked down twice, with one time looking like near death, you are gonna have to do better than fury did....fury looked good at times but he wasn't overwhelming enough to overcome knockdowns

regardless of how you feel about who won the fight....the fans still wanted a rematch...more than they want wilder/breazeale and fury/shwarz....by a longshot...the world thought they were getting it...wilder thought he was negotiating it....2 of the top 3 heavies going at it again

and bob swooped in and killed it....so if you were cool with that you cant complain about spence not fighting Crawford right now....at least spence has some very good options...better than fury is doing....fury swerved the fight to fight Schwarz....spence can fight porter...and then thurman or danny......spence has options

Crawford resigned with TR fully knowing what the landscape looked like......bob would be doing the exact same thing if he were in haymons shoes...bobs just crying cause the shoe is on the other foot and haymon has more talent to work with

stop crying about the ills of the sport...we know its flawed and it sucks...we can keep repeating it over and over and it does NOTHING....so just accept Crawford is in a crap spot and spence isn't....

the problem in the scenario though is wilder doesn't even care about fury now....wilder is trending upwards even without him.....Crawford is going to level out and or maybe even take a dip without the pbc guys

50-50 is a fair split. They both have similar resumes and drawing power. Neither is a big star or draw but together this would be the most anticipated fight in boxing.

This is most likely. Khan-Brook STILL hasnt happened and its been a rivalry for like 10 years now. Wont happen until those two are on their last way out.

Lol ok cool you carry on thinking Ellerbe is Saying stuff for the sake of it. I’m sure you know more than he does seeing as you know everything.

The fight can be made if Bud can get out of his Top Rank contract

              April 23, 2019:

Minutes after the fight, Arum came to the ringside media section and was far more interested in letting off steam about Crawford-Spence than in assessing Crawford-Khan and the unusual ending of Arum's first ESPN PPV card.

Arum tried to forcefully make his case that the only one holding up Crawford-Spence was Haymon. He went in on Haymon hard, blaming him for refusing to even entertain the fight. He said Haymon would match Spence with only his other welterweights, including titleholders Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter and Pacquiao, who jumped from Top Rank to PBC late last year. He said Haymon was a "scamster." And he pulled out the race card, insisting that Haymon, who is black, would keep Spence from fighting Crawford.

"He's gonna say, 'Spence, listen to me. Don't listen to the white guys [like Arum], because if you listen to the white guys, they're gonna steer you down the road,'" Arum told the writers. "'Listen to me, brother. We're part of a brotherhood. And if I tell you not to fight Crawford, I'm telling you not to fight Crawford.' That's exactly what he will say..."

I feel Arum's pain, but I assure you it's not a group of reporters preventing this fight or any other one. I'm quite certain all of my ringside colleagues also very much want to see Crawford-Spence. As for the notoriously reclusive Haymon, he doesn't speak to the media and has never commented on this -- or anything, for that matter. PBC spokesman Tim Smith brushed off Arum's comments.

"It's not Al's way to negotiate through the media," Smith said. "He has made meaningful fights in the past with various promoters -- Canelo [Alvarez]-[Julio Cesar] Chavez Jr., Canelo-Khan, [Daniel] Jacobs-GGG, [Kell] Brook-Spence. As for Arum's other statements, they're not worth commenting on."

McIntyre said Arum's scorched-earth way of approaching things isn't conducive to making the fight.

"That probably won't get the job done," he said.

At least BoMac had a little something to say! Terence Crawford...MAN UP! Did being quiet get you that Pacquiao fight?

why cant people just accept that Crawford is in a crap spot and he help put himself there???? because that's what happened

he knew the WW landscape when he re-upped with TR....and you guys loved when bob snatched fury from a wilder rematch and tried to make wilder sign with espn to fight fury...lol

now they crying...what a bunch of hoes

Why are they asking Ellerbe? He deals with PBC but he isn't in some type of leadership role, nor is Spence signed with Mayweather promotions. Talk about a non-story

well....im not dan Rafael fan...and ill admit he used to be that way...but he did call arum out big time years ago before Floyd/pac and put full blame on arum and called him out .....so I cant say that's totally true..ive also seen him bash arums tactics after that a few times too

To me this will now come down to Spence. For the longest time I felt no one at 147 wanted to get in there with Spence. But Crawford and Arum have at least made it seem like they want that fight and a 50/50 split is what this fight should be - both guys are basically at the same level of star power. Crawford also has no other real options at 147 so it makes sense in the realm of public opinion that they would push for this fight now.

If Spence really wants this fight he needs to come out and push for it as well. The only fight we all really want to see at 147 is Spence Crawford, or even Thurman against one of those guys. And those are not the fights being lined up. At a certain point if you want to be the man in the division you have to call out the other top guys and fight them - that's what Hurd did with Lara (even though I edged it to Lara) and that is how you get real acclaim and credit.

I guess it is a tough call for Spence money-wise if he can make similar money fighting worse fighters, and more of them, rather than taking on Crawford and making a little more money one-time, but having a risk of losing and losing his 0. But if you have a chance to fight the other consensus top guy at your weight and don't do it, it is a bad look.
